THE STORY
From a girl's dream to a business
It all started as a hobby, on the couch in a small apartment in Oslo, November 2017. A Swarovski girl was put on a gold string by chance and the adventure was on.
By Wahl-Westreng was established in the autumn of 2017 by Karoline Wahl-Westreng. The jewelery was quickly picked up by a shop in Oslo, where it has sold very well from day one. The first year was spent testing materials and ensuring that the jewelry was of good quality. When this was in place, the brand has grown organically, and today can refer to incredibly beautiful and cool on-trend jewelry, earrings and bracelets in good quality at very good prices.
Today, bracelets, most necklaces and a number of earrings are produced by hand in Norway. In addition, several models are produced by suppliers in different parts of the world.

MATERIALS: ​

The difference between gold-filled and gold-plated is the amount of gold used. They are constructed in the same way, by rolling a thin sheet of solid gold over a base metal such as e.g. brass, silver or steel. Gold-filled, on the other hand, has a higher gold content and retains its color longer than gold-plated jewelery. All jewelry that does not consist of pure gold may fade over time, or in contact with water, creams, perfumes and other chemicals.

Stones: The stones used are mostly Swarovski, zircons or natural stones such as moonstone, pyrite, agate etc. What the jewelry is made of is stated under each product in the online store.
